Hello Web is a sole trader business run by Sabin Shah in Devonport, Tasmania (ABN 32 836 225 107). This policy explains what information this website collects and what I do with it. The short version: I only collect what I need to reply to you and run your project, and I never sell it.
What I collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form, quote calculator or website checker, I collect your name, email, and anything else you choose to give me (phone, business name, your message, the options you picked).
- Website checker. The web address you enter is sent to Google's PageSpeed Insights service to run the test.
- Client portal. If you're a client, I store your email address, your project details, the brief you fill in and any files you upload.
- Visitor statistics. I may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Where it's stored
Enquiries and client portal data are stored with Supabase in their Singapore data centre. Supabase is bound by contract to protect it, and I take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If enquiry email notifications are switched on, a copy of your enquiry passes through Web3Forms to reach my inbox. The website itself is served by Cloudflare. Card payments are handled by Stripe, which processes your card details under its own privacy policy. I only see your name, email, the amount paid and the last four digits of your card.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or mockup.
- To run your project and keep your website looked after.
- To send invoices and keep the records the tax office requires.
I don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask, and I never sell or rent your details.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time by emailing hello@helloweb.com.au. I'll reply within 30 days. Some records, like invoices, have to be kept for tax reasons.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, email me first and I'll sort it out. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
